Sibylle Bross, Corinna Weiner and Carola Schapals show their work in the new exhibition 'Terra Incognita'. On view from 17 May to 23 June at the Katwijk-based DUNAatelier.

The artists paint both in the studio and outside 'en plein air'. All three are members of the Katwijkerkring.

Carola Schapals, on the other hand, is in search of magical places in nature. In combining special architecture with nature, she manages to depict a special atmosphere. Dream images, nudes painted in the studio and 'en plein air' - subjects alternate. The title of the exhibition 'Terra Incognita' or 'unknown territory' well reflects the three women's appetite for experimentation.
