For more than 60 years now, Rederij van Hulst has been providing boat trips, while specializing in culinary round trips and boat-trip parties for up to 250 guests. Every week there are boat trips from Katwijk through the area. Take a look at the website for more information. 

From July till September you can join Venice of the West Watertaxi on a surprising boat trip along the ‘Oude Rijn’, going from Leiden to Katwijk and back. You will pass the Limes, the natural border of the Roman Empire, and will then continue the journey through Oegstgeest, Valkenburg and Rijnsburg. After about 90 minutes you will dock at the harbor of Katwijk. To enjoy the sun or just go for a fresh breeze of air at the beach, you can go for a five minute walk from the docking place to the boulevard of Katwijk. Departing form Katwijk, you will go on a boat trip to the old city of Leiden, ‘City of Discoveries’.
