Connection Concert - Peter Wilms

With the warm sound of the marimba, the enchanting sounds of the handpan and the unique timbre of his voice, Peter Wilms wants to bring you close to yourself. With depth in his music, he hopes to strike a chord with you. Sometimes through a sensitive song on the sansula or handpan, sometimes through catchy grooves on percussion and marimba. Using a loop station, he brings all the sounds together into a colourful whole.

He likes to invite you to get in touch with yourself and express yourself. There is often room to dance and sometimes to sing along. This creates a connected experience with other listeners. The music makes space for you to feel reconnected with yourself and with others and reconnected with Source.

When he makes music with the loop station, he feels like a musical alchemist. He forges different ingredients together into a harmonious whole that feels like a power source. He feels like a channel through which Creation is allowed to flow. He is always energised by this and feels aligned and connected to Source.
